6 Demands – 17th Strike
- STOP appointing political cadres in crucial positions of academic institutions.
- ENSURE medical services and medical education be fair and equally accessible to all people across the country
- AMEND the recently endorsed Medical Education Act
- ENSURE transparency in government spending on the medical expenses of political leaders
- REFUND illegal fees charged to medical students by private medical colleges
- DECREASE fees and the number of seats in private medical colleges.
Healthcare should be affordable and accessible for all. Lower income families children should be able to afford medical education.
